Current implementation

This forum stores display name, email, password hash, account role and status, topics, posts, confirmation/reset token hashes, and timestamps in a separate forum database. Passwords are hashed. One-time email tokens are hashed in the database; outgoing links place token material in the URL fragment so the web request does not put it in ordinary access logs. SMTP delivery is sent only through settings configured by the forum owner. If an administrator configures an AI provider, the admin settings can send the API key to that provider's model-list endpoint and receive model identifiers. Automatic post translation is disabled by default. If an administrator enables it, post text may be sent to the configured OpenAI model when a reader requests another language. Original posts are retained and translated results are cached.

Required session cookies and a local browser theme preference are used. No analytics pixel or ad tracking is included in this build.
